It seems rather silly that any game would only allow you to run through it one profile at time, even hidden object games allow for more than one profile.

In any case even if you are stuck playing on the same PC which obviously means you are only playing one instance of the account at a time.most games allow for more than one in-game profile.Īs for BF3, I am not entirely sure how the interface of that game works as I have never been a big one for battle games but I am sure even that game will allow for multiple profiles to be set up. Now generally I do not start the game up through the origins account but rather the desktop.but that shouldn't have much to do with it. As for only having one instance of the origins account active at a time.I either have a glitch or EA fixed this.as my sister and I have been on the game at the same time without an issue. Which means that playing the game on one computer does not affect the saved content on the other. Saved content is generated on the computer, not the actual origins account. Her playing it has not once affected my playing, granted we are on two seperate computers. I have handed it over to my sister who also likes playing the sims 3. The origins account we have is my account.

Origins allows for up to 5 computers to download content and play them. Everyone here is panicking over the fact that you can't essentially have two different people playing the game.which is untrue. Here is the thing that I have come to notice with the games & origins download manager. If only the licensing model had been as well-conceived as the game. What is clear is that it is confused and I have now (again, I'm sad to say) been tricked into paying for something that is not what I thought it was - of course, I'm sure this was all covered in plain English in the EULA. Even though they are on the same system (actually, I think they could be on any system, as I am now learning) only one history is going to be maintained - the one that is attached to the EA Spore ID for the game - which means that they cannot make independent progress through the game as I'd have expected.īack when Spore was new, it had messed up licensing and I am unclear on whether that has changed at all.

I'm getting that sinking feeling (again) that cannot do that because of the way EA has choses to license this game. Of course, they would each like to be able to play and track their own progress as you would do with a PS or Xbox game. I am downloading to the system they would like to play on. I have bought a download though amazon and have Spore, Spore Galactic something or other and Spore Cute & something. On the bright side, it is cheaper now - but it's also pretty old. Of course, that computer is long since out of service and they have become interested in the game again (my youngest son, in particular) so I find myself back in that familiar nauseous space again - recalling just how angry this game made me back in the day. My oldest first played it right after it came out and I did eventually get it working - somehow. Is this for real? For some reasonmy kids love Spore, and I feel as though I have spent years of my life trying to understand how EA licenses it. Apex Legends Mobile Limited Regional Launch.
